pleasant stay with minor inconveniences
I appreciated the immaculate cleanliness of our double room, it truly exceeded my expectations. The comfort of the bed made for restful nights. We also enjoyed trying out various breakfast options, the selection was impressive, though it got a bit crowded during peak hours.
The layout during breakfast could be improved to avoid congestion.

Oh man, the dining at Park Hotel Dungarvan was a highlight! The Seafood Chowder? Pure heaven. And don’t even get me started on the Tiramisu—each bite was like a sweet dream come true! The breakfast spread was top-notch too, with a gluten-free buffet and cooked-to-order Irish breakfast. Also, big props to Leah. she was a star at the restaurant, keeping everything running smoothly with a smile.
On the flip side, the hotel felt a bit tired, like it could use a refresh, especially with those old bedspreads. Also, the noise from the outside weddings and late-night chatter made it a tad disruptive. The view from our room didn’t exactly scream 'park' either—it looked out onto hangars instead yet the room itself was comfy and spacious.

The Park Hotel Dungarvan offered excellent dining options, particularly the seafood chowder and tiramisu, which were delightful. The breakfast was also a highlight, featuring freshly prepared items and a wide selection, satisfying various dietary needs. The staff were efficient and attentive, especially during my business meetings, ensuring that all equipment was set up properly and on time.
The room furnishings felt outdated in comparison to the rates.

Spent a night here with my 9-year-old daughter and we had a great time! The staff were super friendly and amazing with kids, making our stay really enjoyable. The pool was fantastic and provided a wonderful bonding experience. However, I found the room a bit too warm for a comfortable sleep, as I prefer it cooler at night. Overall, it was a lovely experience that we will cherish!

It was just a proper fit for a brief weekend stay in Dungarvan with extraordinarily good value for money. The food at breakfast was excellent, with staff always checking in while we enjoyed our meal. Be mindful of noise from early morning deliveries if you're in a room toward the back.

The room was super clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Felt like I could melt into the sheets. They also replenished amenities daily, which was a nice touch. I did find the decor a bit dated, though, but nothing that ruined my stay. Overall, a cozy spot for sure!
